A man is accused of burglarizing a home in Daytona Beach and stealing money from a bank, police said Monday.
The Broward Sheriff’s Office said on Twitter that the alleged burglary took place around 4 a.m.
Tuesday in the 600 block of Ponce de Leon Avenue.
The home’s alarm system was activated, and deputies say they saw the suspect inside the home.
The suspect allegedly ran out of the home and began breaking into other locations in the area, the sheriff’s office said.
He then returned to the home where deputies say he made off with cash.
Deputies say they’re looking for the suspect, who is described as white, with a thin build, around 5-foot-8 to 5-feet-10 and weighing about 150 pounds.
He was wearing a white shirt, gray jeans, a dark gray hat and a gray hooded sweatshirt.
